June 6, 2014 - Colorado and New Mexico, Road and Severe Weather Change Experience
Leaving the Wallmart in the morning, to the next road destination Roswell; the famous UFO crash site.
On the road, there is unexpected severe weather changes happened. Just before the New Mexico state, I have to drive over the high mountain; guess it is the last southern part of the Rocky mountains.
Heavy snow (hail with rain?) blocked the traffic at the top of the mountain, couple of Colorado state police and maintenance cars were leading out the traffic over the snow covered roads without tire chains. Me was very worried to follow them as my home is heavy, and I had no experience over snow driving with it. Wow, it was very moments; and passed the snow sections without any incidents.  The more interesting part is that there were sunny sky hot weather zone right after the snow sections at the New Mexico state line. Good road trip experience I had...
As usual from now, I made and spent over night at the Wallmart parking lot; Video clips at the bottom, and some photo clips from the video recording road scenery.
